“It is an incredible film and an equally incredible role!” expressed the trilingual movie protagonist, Rana Daggubati.
In the recently released teaser of Aranya, Rana Daggubati introduces himself as “Bandev”, lord of the forest and a guardian to wildlife. Aiding Bandev in the movie is a herd of sixteen intelligent elephants, responding to his calls and whistles, including Unnikrishnan, the focal elephant.
Touted to be a true story, Aranya will be released on April 2.
While Pulkit Samrat co-stars with Rana in the Hindi film titled Haathi Mere Saathi, actor Vishnu Vishal features in the Tamil and Telugu versions, titled Kaadan and Aranya respectively. The film also stars actresses Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in all three language versions.
Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the movie is about a man who fought for the jungle, the animals and against society.
