July 1, 2026: OXMIQ Labs Inc., the GPU and AI architecture company founded by semiconductor industry veteran Raja Koduri, has announced the close of its $35 million Series A funding round, taking the company’s total capital raised to $60 million.
The funding round was co-led by Fundomo and Samsung Catalyst Fund, with participation from MediaTek, AM Intelligence Labs, Pegatron Venture Capital, CDIB-TEN, Darwin Ventures, Morgan Creek Digital, Intel Capital and other strategic investors.
The new capital will accelerate development and commercialization of OxCore™, OXMIQ’s licensable GPU architecture that enables semiconductor companies and AI infrastructure providers to build custom AI silicon without undertaking expensive full-chip development programs.
OXMIQ Labs, Building an Open AI Compute Platform
Founded by Raja Koduri, OXMIQ is developing an open and configurable AI compute platform spanning silicon IP, chiplet integration and AI software. The company’s architecture is designed to help customers reduce the cost and complexity of deploying AI infrastructure while supporting a broad range of AI workloads.
At the center of the platform is OxCore™, a scalable GPU architecture that combines GPU, tensor processing and orchestration capabilities into a unified compute core. Complementing it are OxQuilt™, a configurable chiplet integration architecture supporting multiple foundries, memory technologies and packaging options, and OxPython™, which enables existing CUDA® and PyTorch® applications to run without code modifications.
The company says the architecture has been validated on FPGA platforms and is designed to scale from edge AI deployments to hyperscale data centers.
Strengthening Leadership
Alongside the funding announcement, OXMIQ also announced the expansion of its leadership team.
Renowned chip architect Jim Keller, CEO of Tenstorrent, has joined the company’s Board of Directors, while former Intel Fellow Dr. Valluri (Bob) Rao has joined as an advisor. Their appointments are expected to support OXMIQ as it moves from architecture development to customer deployment.
Supporting Next-Generation AI Infrastructure
OXMIQ follows an IP-first business model, licensing its GPU architecture to semiconductor companies, AI system builders and cloud infrastructure providers, allowing customers to develop customized AI compute platforms more efficiently.
The company is also collaborating with industry partners on next-generation AI infrastructure projects, including renewable-powered AI compute platforms.
Headquartered in Campbell, California, with a development center in Hyderabad, India, OXMIQ is focused on making high-performance AI compute more accessible through open, licensable architecture.
